Now, let’s get into the nitty gritty. Traditional artists are fighting right now. And though there is always discourse amongst artist for different interpretations, I mean art is relative, after all. However, most can agree on one thing: Ai is suffocating the work of real artist and attempting to snuff it out altogether.

Me personally, I’m always going to support Traditional/local artists. You should too! I’ll mention some at the end of this article. On the other hand, there are people that don’t specialize in art so they don’t grasp the complexity of putting your all into art. They don’t value it. But they crave it. Which is why you see AI tattoos and characters that look like like them. Without that understanding perspective, they lack the empathy to care about the fact that these are peoples lives and jobs. I think this bridge can be gapped and connected if society opens itself up to caring and fighting to keep humanity alive.

Humanity gets a lot of bad wrap but we can be beautiful when we allow ourselves to be alive and not gripped by anger. The effort of creating something, the repetition of stitches you may put in for an elegant piece of clothing, each stroke of concentrated energy you put into a portrait. The will is what makes humanity beautiful, Desperately alive. We are beautifully intricate creatures when we are one with nature. Artists deserve a fighting chance, such as humanity deserves a fighting chance. Not only does Ai use up valuable resources that are already limited or infected with P.F.A.S, but the usage of Chat GPT and other software programs have decreased critical thinking skills in the average person. Which is not only a planned tactic but an unfortunate success unless we put a stop to it.

So put a stop to it! Support your local artists, search their work if you can’t buy it! Barter it, the system doesn’t have to tell you what is currency when you make your own rules. Without further ado, these are some artists that I favor:

*Teresa_Andrews_Art- A tattooist based in Maine, their color realism pops off the skin to say the least.

*PaperairplaneJane- An Atl based Tattooist that
specializes in color realism and other specialities!

*Mrs_Baxters_Art_Class- A public school art teacher that hand makes so much of their art and shows you how to do so as well! My personal favorites are their paper mache bugs.

*Mlle_Psythache- a digital artist that shows their coloring process on their intricate character designs. Their understanding of color theory is what I enjoy the most.

*Oscarukonu- A traditional artist that mainly uses pen to create their pieces of art. The attention to detail and contrast is not only beautiful but masterful.
